Carmy Aristor is the founder of Destined Horizons PLLC.  In a society where “everyday” life stressors and trauma have become the norm, she believes there is a new horizon of awareness that awaits. With over 15 years of experience working with youth and families, Carmy has promoted change through teaching parenting skills, working with at-risk adolescents and providing therapy to clients. Her experiences range from play therapy with children, adolescent individual and group therapy, family therapy, couples therapy, and grief counseling. Through modalities such as Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Impact Therapy, Schema Therapy, Trauma Focused and Behavioral Therapy, she has been able to bring awareness to dark places one session at a time. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Life Coach through the Behavioral Health & Leadership Dynamics, LLC and is a Board Certified Telemental Health Provider.  Her greatest passion is to walk the journey with a client from obscurity to clarity, while building on existing strengths.  Life has a way of challenging us to newer horizons, through an eclectic approach that meet the needs of each individual, she works alongside her clients to reach their destined horizons.


Melena Saddler is a licensed psychotherapist and certified life coach from the NYC area. Melena holds a BA in Psychology and a MS in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with nationally certified credentials. Melena is primarily a licensed distance counselor providing telemental health therapy to individuals in the inner city area of New York. Melena has an eclectic approach to counseling however she specializes in solution-focused and person-centered therapy in which she lets her client’s lead the way while keeping their goals in mind.  Read More...

With experience in working with individuals whom have depression, anxiety, familial concerns, intimate partner concerns and/or child welfare concerns , Melena has the ability to assess family history and generational patterns that may be contributing to current presenting concerns. Melena has experience working in both New York and Connecticut and received her life coaching training under Tony Gaskins Jr. (relationship and celebrity coach). Melena’s overall goal is to ensure individuals get the most out of therapy by learning tools to address their concerns long after therapy has ended.

Alex works with individuals struggling with depressive like feelings, bi-polar, and managing stress and anxiety, as well as with assisting families in decreasing conflict and discovering new and creative ways to communicate.  Alex also has extensive experience working with couples who are struggling to recover from relationship traumas such as infidelity, abuse, etc. and those who are arguing more than making love. Alex has offered her expert advice on several relationship panels such as twice on The National Great Love Debate and is the author of upcoming book Argue Less Make Love More.  Alexanderial Jones graduated with honors with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of North Florida.  In 2008, she did the same graduating top of her class with Degree of Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University


Arianny Garcia is a Licenced Clinical Social Worker who has been working in the field of social work for over ten years.  As a first generation immigrant raised in New York City, Arianny developed a fascination for social and cultural diversity.  Arianny obtained a bachelor’s from Fordham University in social work and sociology, later obtaining a master’s degree in social work.  Working with children, adolescents, and families within the field of child welfare, Arianny has led various groups and workshops on child and adolescent development and parenting.


Working with families affected by certain generational traumas such as domestic violence, sexual abuse, and substance abuse, Arianny also uses a strengths-based approach to help break the stigma of opening up about difficult life experiences in order to help in the healing process.  During individual sessions, Arianny uses different techniques including cognitive behavior therapy and narrative therapy to promote the importance of self-reflection.  Through a client centered approach, Arianny believes in the importance of meeting each individual wherever they may be in their journey.


Marica Pean is an experienced Mental Health and Wellness Advocate with a demonstrated history of working in the Individual and Family Services industry. Competent in Analytical Skills, Safety & Risk Assessment, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, Crisis Intervention, Individual and Group Counseling as well as Psycho-education. A passionate, driven and goal-oriented professional with a Master of Arts (M.A.) focused in Social Work from New York University.


Shaniece Robotham is a licensed Mental Health Counselor with a concentration in substance use. Shaniece has a BS in Psychology and MS in Mental Health counseling. Shaniece is a Bronx native with extensive work history with child welfare providing family and individual counseling.
